Westergaard Kurt (b. 1935-07-13 / d. 2021-07-14)

Kurt Westergaard (born Kurt Vestergaard) was a Danish cartoonist famous for creating the controversial cartoon of a terrorist, although not the Islamic prophet Muhammad as it is often claimed, wearing a bomb in his turban. This cartoon was the most contentious of the 12 Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons, which met with strong reactions from Muslims worldwide who condemned the act, including Western countries. Abella

The role of his life.
A village watchman in the central Philippines allegedly mistook an actor playing a masked gunman in a British film for a real assassin and fatally shot him, police said Monday. Watchman Eddie Cuizon tried to accost Filipino actor Kirk Abella late Saturday then shot him as the actor was directed to speed away on a motorcycle with a masked driver, said community police chief Alexis Relado of central Cebu city's Parian district. Cuizon, 52, told police he was sleeping and was woken up by a concerned citizen who reported the presence of armed men in his community. He told police he saw two masked men on a motorcycle and approached them but they sped away and he stumbled as he tried to stop them, injuring his knee. He fired at Abella when the actor pulled out a gun, which turned out to be made of plastic, Relado said. Many street killings in the Philippines, including those of political activists and journalists, have been perpetrated by motorcycle-riding gunmen. Abella, 32, was acting in "Going Somewhere," being filmed by British theatre and film director Alan Lyddiard in Cebu, Relado said. It was supposed to be the final take of a scene where Abella's character was to be involved in a drive-by shooting, the police chief said. Abella died later in a hospital and Cuizon immediately surrendered to the police after he realized what happened, police said. Volunteer watchmen in communities around the country help police keep the peace, patrol the streets and implement curfews. They are normally armed only with batons and are not supposed to carry firearms. Cuizon told police he just borrowed the pistol he used but refused to identify from whom, Relado said. Cuizon will be charged with homicide and for violation of a gun ban, Relado said.

Kennedy
John Fitzgerald. 1963-11-22

46

Born 1917-05-29. Domain:Politics. Cause of death:Murder

Kennedy dated actress Gene Tierney, who was separated from her then husband fashion designer Oleg Cassini in 1946. In her book Self-portrait Ms. Tierney recalls how over an informal brunch Jack just stated that he could never marry her because of her pending divorce, if he was to be the first elected Catholic President (moreover, she was also a Protestant). Subsequently, Tierney folded her napkin and left the cafe. Mr. Cassini was hired as the exclusive designer for the First Lady after the election. The President and Cassini quickly become friends.
Behind the glamorous facade, the Kennedys also suffered many personal tragedies. Jacqueline suffered a miscarriage in 1955 and gave birth to a stillborn daughter, Arabella Kennedy, in 1956. The death of their newborn son, Patrick Bouvier Kennedy, in August 1963, was a great loss. Since Kennedy's death, allegations have been made that Kennedy carried on numerous extramarital dalliances during his presidency with women such as Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe and socialite Mary Pinchot Meyer.
