In her first book, Le noir est une couleur (Black is a color), she told her story in a blunt and honest way, with a dark lyrical tone she got from her own experience. During the seventies, Réal became an activist, in particular with the occupation of the Chapelle Saint-Bernard, in Paris, in June 1975. She rejected the argument of the alienation by the pimps, and stated that prostitution could be a choice, a free-will decision. The revolutionary whore was born. Réal stopped prostitution in 1995, at the age of 66.

In an open and shrouded coffin with a white blanket, all her admirers and friends could come and see her. She was taken to the Cemetery of the Almudena in Madrid where she was buried. It was one of the burials most remembered by the number of people who came; the funeral was broadcast live on television. Baudrillart
Alfred Henri Marie. 1942-05-19

83

Born 1859-01-06. Domain:Religious. Cause of death:Age

He was a French Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Rector of the Catholic Institute of Paris from 1907 until his death, and was elevated to the cardinalate in 1935. He was elected as a member of the Académie française, like his grandfather, on 2 May 1918. Baudrillart initially supported the Vichy government of Marshal Philippe Pétain, along with Cardinal Suhard, and in August 1941 - as a fervent anti-communist - even supported the creation of a Legion of French Volunteers Against Bolshevism; however in early 1942 he openly protested in public against the anti-Semitic measures of the Vichy government in shops and theatres; he also decried the Hitler regime as unhuman (in private conversation). He was however strongly opposed to British diplomacy and military action.Baudrillart's private opposition inspired Cardinal Suhard to publish his Open Protest against the deportation of Jews in July, 1942. The Cardinal died in Paris, at age 83. He was solemnly buried in the chapel Des Carmes at the Catholic Institute (Institut Catholique).

Guynemer
Georges. 1917-09-11

23

Born 1894-12-24. Domain:Society. Cause of death:Murder

Guynemer failed to return from a combat mission on 11 September 1917. At 08:30, with young pilot Bozon-Verduraz, Guynemer took off in his Spad XIII S.504 n°2. His mission was to patrol the Langemark area. At 09:25, near Poelkapelle, Guynemer sighted a lone Rumpler, a German observation plane, and dived towards it. Bozon-Verduraz saw several Fokkers above him, and by the time he had shaken them off, his leader was nowhere in sight, so he returned alone. Guynemer never came back. Neither the wreckage of his airplane, his body, nor his personal effects were ever found, but the Germans announced that he had been shot down by Lt. Kurt Wissemann of Jasta 3, who in turn was killed in action 17 days later. French schoolchildren of the time were taught that Guynemer had flown so high, he couldn't come back down again. At the time of his death, he had tallied 53 victories. In all, he survived being shot down seven times, despite not having a parachute. It is not clear if he was killed in the crash of his plane or if he survived, only to be shot on the ground in no-man's land. Some speculate that his aircraft may have been blown apart by artillery shells.
