Rolls Charles (b. 1877-08-27 / d. 1910-07-12)

He was killed in an air crash at Bournemouth when the tail of his Wright Flyer broke off, making him the first Briton to be killed in an aeronautical accident, and the eleventh internationally. A statue in his memory, in which he is seen holding a biplane model, was erected in Agincourt Square, Monmouth.
His grave lies in a little known corner of Monmouthshire at the now disused church of Llangattock Vibon Avel, where many of the Rolls family lie buried in various family tombs. His grave is just below Llangattock Manor and bears the inscription Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.

He was an Italian automobile designer and Senator for life. In 1965 it was Sergio Pininfarina who personally persuaded Enzo Ferrari to adopt a "mid-engined" engine configuration for a new line of road cars, with the engine positioned behind the driver, but ahead of the rear wheels. After his father's death in 1966, Pininfarina became chairman of the company. In 2006 Sergio and his son Andrea, who died in 2008 were named Honorary Chairmen of Pininfarina,

Born 1957-06-26. Domain:Business. Cause of death:Accident

He was an Italian engineer and manager, former CEO of the Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina, founded by his grandfather Battista "Pinin" Farina in 1930 and still controlled by the family. He was the son of Sergio Pininfarina and was married to Italian aristocrat Cristina Maddalena Pellion di Persano, with whom he had three children.
Pininfarina died while riding a Vespa scooter, near the company’s headquarters in Cambiano, outside Turin, Italy, on the morning of August 7, 2008. According to police at the scene, the dynamics of the accident were clear; without seeing the approaching scooter, a car, driven by a 78 year old man, maneuvered from a side street around a parked lorry unloading sand, pulling directly in front of Mr. Pininfarina, whose scooter then impacted the car head-on. Conditions at the time of the accident were very foggy.

Farina
Giuseppe. 1966-06-30

59

Born 1906-10-30. Domain:Sport. Cause of death:Accident

He was an Italian racing driver. He stands out in the history of Grand Prix motor racing for his much copied 'straight-arm' driving style and his status as the first ever Formula One World Champion.
A notable character in early World Championship Grand Prix racing, Farina was noted for his driving style and intelligence, but also his petulant streak and his disregard for his fellow competitors on the race track. He was involved in the fatal accidents of Marcel Lehoux in the 1936 Grand Prix de Deauville and László Hartmann at Tripoli in 1938. It was ironic that after all the injuries he sustained in the latter part of his career, it was in a car crash that he finally lost his life at Chambery in France, whilst driving to spectate at the 1966 French Grand Prix.

The last design personally attributed to Battista Farina was the iconic 1600 Duetto for Alfa Romeo. This was first seen by the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1966. He died less than a month later.
His nephew, Nino Farina, was the first Formula 1 world champion.
