Kakogiannis Michalis (b. 1922-06-11 / d. 2011-07-25)
Michael Cacoyannis (Greek: Μιχάλης Κακογιάννης) was a prominent Greek filmmaker from Cyprus, best known for his 1964 film Zorba the Greek. He directed the 1983 Broadway revival of the musical based on the film.

He was an American mathematician and logician. Curry is best known for his work in combinatory logic; while the initial concept of combinatory logic was based on a single paper by Moses Schönfinkel, much of the development was done by Curry. Curry is also known for Curry's paradox and the Curry-Howard correspondence. He has the distinction of having two programming languages named after him, Haskell and Curry.
